Week three replacement blog(redone)

Week 3 Blog replacement Krward3849 Krystina

The orchestral selections and the mood of the film are very calm, with some instrumental sounds non-diagetic to movie. The selections are peaceful and tranquil so the dialogue is what the focus primarily is  composed of. The music is back round and  intended to only enhance the dialogue occurring within the movie. The spiritual points made are the impact of the movie. The action sequences; which help build to the climax of the movie are what indicate the genre is drama. If any one of the sounds were taken away, would it be any different. I would hesitate to think it would change the movie much. There are few unexpected sounds in the movie; except when John, trips over the garbage can, as the narrator(anonymous) is preparing to introduce the character “Will” to the viewer. The pivotal point is made by Will in the end of the scene about the “synchronistic” timing of John’s arrival. This movie is powerful and introduces the steps necessary to reorder one’s priorities and life to the higher realms as I so often try to conduct my life.

I still consider; however, that “The Celestine Prophecy” and the movie “The Secret” are a package deal in my mind at least, as the points introduced in “The Celestine Prophecy” prepare the viewer for the enhancement of “The Secret.” For me, it is difficult to separate these two with similar points and “The Secret” expounding essentially on many of the points “The Celestine Prophecy” teach or explain. Once a person accepts one and is able to begin apply the steps, the other one seemingly reinforces the message originally given. I am working to raise this morally lost country up to higher levels of reality and ever better ways of helping each other. It has become harder since last week’s Supreme Court ruling however. I am saddened that all of this has taken place. Yet the hope shown me last week with the blog and discussion about the “Field of Dreams” and my simple message about the power of the Holy Ghost or the presence of the Holy Spirit. I am only trying to help a world headed in a downward spiral pull up out of the terrible end it is all headed for, before it is too late. Krward3849 Krystina

Celestine Prophesy and The Secret

The Celestine Prophesy’s appeal is not hard to understand. The story’s anonymous narrator, like many of us, is seeking the higher meaning of life. His existential angst is interrupted when a friend he hasn’t seen in years suddenly contacts him with news of a mysterious manuscript hidden in the rain forests of Peru. According to his friend, this manuscript confirms that there is a spiritual component to the world, and we’re all slowly becoming aware of its reality. Intrigued by the coincidence that his friend would appear with this information just when he needed to hear it most, he hops on a flight to Peru to learn more about the manuscript.
Soon our hero is involved in a fabulous Raiders of the Lost Ark-style adventure. He and his acquaintances are pursued by priests who wish to suppress the manuscripts’ nine insights into human existence. However, astounding coincidences always ensure that he escapes and falls into the company of like-minded truth seekers who teach him the meaning of the insights. Interestingly enough, the content of these insights focuses on the coincidences themselves. He learns there are no chance events in life, there is only a synchronous journey toward spiritual troth. As we become more accepting of this truth, we trigger more of the “coincidences” because the universe is influenced by our desires. Soon, enough people will notice the synchronicity at work in their lives, and a “critical mass” of believers will be attained. At this point, the evolution of human society will proceed undaunted to a level of “higher and higher vibration” (1993, 120).
The crux of Redfield’s philosophy is his belief in the synchronicity revealed through coincidences. Throughout The Celestine Prophesy and The Tenth Insight, odd twists of fate help the narrator to come closer to his spiritual fulfillment. Just when it looks like his luck has led him astray, he runs into an acquaintance or a set of circumstances that brings him important information. This is no surprise to him, however, because he has learned that coincidences are not intersections of random events, but examples of the universe ordering reality into a lighted pathway toward our destinies. As Redfield himself explains in his 1997 “nonfiction” book The Celestine Vision:
Regardless of the details of a particular coincidence, we sense that it is too unlikely to have been the result of luck or mere chance. When a coincidence grabs our attention, we are held, even if only for a moment, in awe of the occurrence. At some level, we sense that such events were destined in some way, that they were supposed to happen just when they did in order to shift our lives in a new, more inspiring direction

Week Two ENG 225 Posting, week two details are in the word document uploaded half way down the document.

https://kpward.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/blog-account-information-kpw-for-ENG-225.docx.blog account information, KPW for ENG 225. Keep reading down the document as my ideas and web links are found within the document. I have gone back into the file and updated the section headings so everyone can follow along. The most we have for horror are “Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, the Pilot episode, and The Haunted Mansion.” For history “Dinosaurs, and The Patriot” with a few old John Wayne movies scattered in the “collection.” The westerns came from the family auction during my husband’s paternal reunion. Sorrow category:”The Five People You Meet In Heaven.”

We enjoy a good many movies of all different types. In this case I chose Mary Poppins for the blog entry as far as the Ashford ENG 225 class is concerned. I had some very strong brainstorming options from the text book reading that triggered ideas I possibly could work with to complete the week’s homework assignments. The lighting involved were great big flood lights, spotlights; with scenes requiring the occasional transparent blue or red lights; or transparent coverings over said lights, to create the colors for the evening and the outdoor “Step In Time” musical number found in the (1965 Disney) movie created from Mrs. Travvers children’s book. One would think that I would have known this story from the start, as to who the original creation with the book was, and perhaps earlier in my childhood I had maybe heard the author mentioned once, it would have been long ago and before much of my photogenic memory was as active as it has been though much of my youth and adult life. Enjoy the movie trailer(s) and as you do, you will find my brainstorming flashes of ideas, I am taking notes and looking up the scholarly sources to be prepared to use, as needed, when needed. I hope in the gentle forms of movies I chose one will find the inspiration that will help each of you figure out ideas for yourselves.

In doing the research for this week’s blog assignment; the search to find out the lighting information, took quite a bit of research to locate. It was quite a feat to locate the original information After a full day of research for not just the blog, the assignment, and the discussion, I was surprised to find the backstage footage of where the original story that a Disney employee read to their kids. As a writer myself, I was amused by the whole story, and it leaves me with hope that my poetry and such will pay off. I figure if I can get the readership out there and get enough people wanting it, that sooner or later people will want to buy copies of my poetry and the two short stories I have. I have had many small awards for the poetry and been plagiarized by Vice President, Al Gore, in August of 1997, when I worked inside Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. I have signed many autographs during the two years following the initial fame. I hope all who read my poems will enjoy the poetry and hopefully if enough people like it, that people will want copies for themselves at which point I hope I start seeing my written creativity once again; not only return to the long ago status, but also that people will want to buy the poetry stemming from the easy genetic capability that runs within me. These poetic flare sessions are fleeting so when they occur I try to jot down the flowing ideas, which then can be refined and polished at a later time. This is similar to what film makers and artists of all kinds go though. First the story is brought to the attention of imagineers within companies and conglomerates like Disney, then the imagineers go to work to create artistically based around these ideas, like having a spring board to leap forward with. Once enough of a back story is completed, then the computer graphics, the artists can work with the ideas, and then all the stunt people get involved for the choreography and the computer animators and such begin their work. As they finish up. the work is then edited and all aspects come together to refine the final product. This is the same type of process a writer or poet goes through in connecting the spark of inspiration turning it into the raging warm camp fire that all love. The refinement process is never easy and many times the sketchy ideas which flash through often have to find the complete thought and sentence structure. For poetry, there is some structure, but not as much as life and events or situations sometimes flow through us, and that leaves an impression. These impressions and insights or brilliant storms of inspiration flashing within us as we try to capture the essence of it, for ourselves and our world. We all express beauty, some in painting, some in film making, others by dancing, still others have the instruments that can virtually talk to you, and all other forms of art for the enjoyment of all. Enjoy what I have chosen to share. Read on dear reader, as you skim my word uploaded document, follow the page past the week one entry about the “Polar Express” to find the rest of the ideas and web addresses for the week’s homework. Have a good week everyone. Krward3849 Krystina

The plot is about a young man, could be the young Tom Hanks, who is on the verge of giving up the belief of Santa Clause, however; just before he writes off the belief, he has a choice to make whether to “hop aboard” the imaginary train called “Polar Express.”

The story really is about listening to the inner voice, this could be the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost or like the young man in the movie it could be Santa Clause at Christmas time or for any other imaginary figure or the abstract concept of believing in something one cannot see, like Jesus Christ or Heavenly Father, some call God.  Krward3849  Krystina
